Historical Information Introduction This chronology documents notable events in the history of National Women's. As the Auckland St Helen's Hospital service was transferred to National Women's in 1990, efforts have been made to also include notable St Helen's events as well. The information has been compiled following assistance from Gary Henry, Sandra Budd, Dr Tony Baird, Miss Ann Nightingale, Dorothy and Rona McAleer, Glenda Stimpson, Moira Tretheway, Sandra Coney, Pam Hayward, Maureen Walker and Philip Roxborough.
